A Colourful House

An artwork that I painted last summer. It was inspired by a photo from one of my favourite photographers, and I knew that I had to immediately paint it.

Most of the time I use my own reference photos, or I combine different images to fit the idea in my head. But every now and then it feels nice to do a painting inspired by a photo someone else took. For me, they seem more like studies, because I try to learn how someone else sees the world and how they wold create a composition.
